Position Summary

As the ASG Identity Presales Solutions Engineer, you will serve as a vital collaborator with account teams, assessing our customers' cybersecurity needs. This role involves engaging directly with clients, delivering expert advice on cloud security, and developing innovative security service offerings to meet customer demands. This is a remote position; however, you may be required to reside in the Central or Northeast region of the U.S. based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with account teams to evaluate and understand customers' cybersecurity technologies and needs.
  • Work with key stakeholders within client organizations, including CIOs, CSOs, CISOs, Security Engineers, and procurement teams, to strengthen relationships and better grasp their objectives.
  • Stay updated on the company's service offerings by participating in training and engaging in self-study.
  • Educate sales teams on effective cybersecurity solution selling and technologies through various training methods.
  • Keep abreast of new technology and market trends by researching the industry landscape.
  • Engage in self-study and hands-on work in lab facilities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Create collateral to support cybersecurity sales efforts.
  • Develop use cases in SHI lab environments to bolster sales engagements.

Qualifications

  • Experience in identity management and security solutions.
  • Deep technical knowledge of identity governance and security, including IAM, PAM, IGA, SSO, MFA, CIAM, CLM, and PKI controls.
  • Outstanding presentation skills, particularly in demonstrating identity security solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up capabilities.
  • Ability to research and solve problems with a positive attitude.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and a passion for technology.
  • Proficient documentation skills including system/network diagrams and presentations.
  • General knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, and CIS.
  • Expert-level technical knowledge of security solutions.
  • Preferred certifications include CISSP, relevant GIAC certs, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CPT, CWSP, CCNP Security, and CCIE Security.

Additional Requirements

  • A completed Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role is essential.
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical cybersecurity position is mandatory.
  • 3+ years of pre-sales consulting experience in security.
  • Willingness to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $120,000 - $230,000, inclusive of base salary and bonus. Compensation is based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location, leading to variations among individuals. Benefits may include medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending options.
