Job Summary

The ASG Presales Solutions Engineer - Security Operations and SIEM plays a crucial role in collaborating with account teams to assess customer cybersecurity requirements. As a customer-facing cloud security expert, you will utilize a consultative approach to enhance security projects, coupled with a thorough understanding of how security technologies drive business success. Moreover, you will be responsible for developing and delivering innovative security services to meet diverse customer needs.

This is a remote position, though it may require residing in certain regions as determined by management based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with account teams to evaluate and understand clients' cybersecurity technologies and requirements.
  • Build relationships with multiple stakeholders within client organizations, including CIOs, CSOs, CISOs, and Security Engineers.
  • Deepen your knowledge of our services offerings across various solution practice areas through company training and self-study.
  • Educate sales personnel on cybersecurity solutions and key technologies through individual and group training sessions.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and market dynamics.
  • Conduct independent research and hands-on work in lab facilities to enhance job-related knowledge and skills.
  • Create and develop collateral to support cybersecurity sales initiatives.
  • Design use cases in the SHI lab to bolster sales engagements.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with identity management and security solutions.
  • Deep understanding of identity governance and security technologies including IAM, PAM, IGA, SSO, MFA, and other controls.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to run demonstrations of identity security solutions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a passion for technology.
  • General understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, and CIS.
  • Preferred certifications include CISSP, GIAC, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, among others.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, with at least 5 years in a technical cybersecurity role.
  • Experience in Security Pre-Sales Consulting for 3 or more years.
  • Willingness to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events as needed.

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $120,000 - $230,000, encompassing both base salary and bonus. Compensation will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
