About the role
Work as part of a team assembling products (signs/banners) with hand and power tools, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
Principal Responsibilities
- Perform tasks such as notching, punching, assembling, and packaging.
- Operate tools and equipment (e.g., air unit, rivet gun, hand drill, glue gun, foam machine).
- Follow supervisor instructions and production guidelines for task completion.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth assembly processes.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with cross-training team members to enhance efficiency and knowledge.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, ensuring equipment is properly maintained.
- Participate in safety training and adhere to safety standards.
- Demonstrate professionalism and uphold company values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills
- Reliable attendance; punctual and ready to work.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic wiring or sewing skills (if applicable).
- License required for operating powered equipment (e.g., walkie), if applicable.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
- Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands/arms to move parts.
- Lifting:
- Regularly up to 10 lbs, frequently up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to mechanical parts, vibrations, and loud noise (ear protection required in designated areas).
