About the role
Job Summary
The Asset Reference Data Analyst will be part of the Instrument Reference Data Operations team, responsible for delivering high-quality securities reference data across multiple lines of business. This team operates as a center of excellence, sourcing, validating, and distributing instrument data used in trading, risk management, fund valuation, settlement, and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily validation of reference data within internal systems
- Source, validate, and maintain instrument and pricing data
- Work with external data vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters) and internal tech teams
- Resolve data discrepancies and client queries in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of financial data
- Participate in process improvements and automation initiatives (AI/tools)
- Support monthly deliverables and reporting deadlines
- Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, technology, and business teams
- Escalate issues appropriately and maintain strong documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (MANDATORY) Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, CS, Engineering preferred
- Strong understanding or interest in financial markets / fixed income / securities
- Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Fixed Income, Pricing, Fund Valuation, or Market Data
- Knowledge of corporate actions, index benchmarking, and financial instruments
- Familiarity with Bloomberg / Reuters
- Exposure to AI / ML tools (Alteryx, Tableau, etc.)

- Interview Process: 2 rounds (1 in-person required)
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 5:30 PM (may rotate to 10:00 AM 7:00 PM; OT as needed)
- Duration: 6 Months (RTH Opportunity)
- Pay Rate: $28/hr W2
- Location: Newark, DE (Onsite)
