Personal Wealth (PW)

Goldman Sachs Personal Wealth (PW) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high‑net‑worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PW Teams work with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Advisors deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax‑efficient solutions, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. Our Financial Analysts provide relationship management and support to PWM by monitoring portfolio holdings, analyzing asset allocations, researching potential investments, understanding financial market developments and trends, and executing trades while gaining a broad‑based understanding of the asset management business. Additionally, analysts are responsible for the onboarding of client relationships, ensuring we meet our client's investment objectives, managing fraud, liquidity management, and ongoing relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Relationship Management: Collaborate intimately with Private Wealth Advisors to provide comprehensive support for relationship management and sophisticated investment processes, catering to the unique needs of high net worth and ultra‑high net worth clients, family offices, university endowments, and nonprofits.
  • Portfolio Oversight & Optimization: Proactively monitor client portfolios, meticulously assessing manager performance, identifying strategic re‑balancing opportunities, and recommending tactical investment ideas to optimize returns and manage risk effectively.
  • Tailored Investment Strategy Development: Design and create bespoke asset allocation proposals for new clients, integrating a broad spectrum of managers, investment styles, and vehicles. Ensure these strategies align perfectly with client risk profiles, investment objectives, and the firm’s strategic market views.
