About the role

Primary Objective

Responsible for the marketing of new and renewal accounts to various insurance companies while actively assisting assigned Account Executives/Producers in coordinating and helping CRS clients.

Preferred Position Qualifications/Behaviors

  • Minimum of five years of agency customer service experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and a high sense of urgency.
  • Possess a Property & Casualty license.
  • Possess CISR or comparable designation and be working to obtain CIC or comparable designation.
  • Knowledgeable in commercial line coverages.
  • Knowledgeable with company guidelines and underwriting rules.
  • Familiar with company appetites and online rating tools.
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for the marketing needs of assigned team(s), including but not limited to the following:

  • Adherence to CRS Core Values & Code of Ethics.
  • Adherence to CRS policies and procedures, including CRS time standards.
  • Be proficient at rating and utilizing various insurance company programs.
  • Assist the Account Executive/Producer in collecting the needed information necessary for new and renewal business submissions and program review.
  • Meet with Producer & AE 120 days prior to expiration to determine the marketing strategy.
  • Prepare the submission file and pre-renewal packet.
  • Create/update the applications in the agency management system and other information needed in the renewal submission file.
  • Submit the client file to markets, communicating with the underwriters to secure the quotes by the date needed.
  • Prepare the Marketing Summary of the quotes and review them with the Producer.
  • Complete 9-column on assigned accounts.
  • Complete the expiring annualized premium spreadsheet as directed.
  • Provide Mod Master analysis as directed.
  • Provide Building Replacement Cost estimations as directed.
  • Review quotes and present recommendations to the Producer.
  • Negotiate pricing or terms as needed.
  • Prepare the proposal as discussed with the producer.
  • Updating, printing, and binding, including enhancements.
  • Assist teams in reviewing and analyzing insured’s contracts regarding insurance requirements and program compliance.
  • Assist teams in completing Bind Orders as directed.
  • Other duties as needed or assigned.
