Assistant Finance Analyst

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a knack for turning data into actionable insights? We are hiring an Assistant Finance Analyst to join our Group Services team.

What you will be doing in the role

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Financial Reporting: Collecting and consolidating monthly management reports and participating in financial activities for Group Services.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assisting in the transactional side of budgeting, creating templates, setting timetables, and consolidating reports.

• Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for automation and integration while supporting the implementation of best practices in accounting controls.

• Stakeholder Management: Regularly interacting with stakeholders to manage expectations and communicate financial information or environmental changes.

• Data Integrity: Refreshing and validating accurate, timeous reports and raising critical financial issues with executive leadership when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: A Diploma or Degree (NQF level 7) in Accounting/Finance.

• Experience: 4–5 years of experience in accounting or 3-4 years experience in a junior FP&A role.
