Assistant Financial Analyst

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and analysis for our Abuja branch.
• The ideal candidate will assist in evaluating financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and opportunities.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes.
• Reconcile financial records and ensure data accuracy.
• Assist in monitoring expenses and ensuring budget compliance.
• Prepare financial models and presentations for management.
• Collaborate with accounting and operations teams for data collection and validation.
• Conduct market and industry research to support financial decisions.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• HND / BSc Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (knowledge of financial modeling is an advantage).
• Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Salary

Net Salary N180,000 – N220,000 (based on qualifications and experience).
