We’re looking for a highly skilled automotive technical professional to step into an exciting Assistant Manager: Sales Technical Expert role within a leading automotive environment.

This opportunity is ideal for a diagnostic technician or technical specialist ready to move into a more strategic, high-impact position supporting technical operations and field activities.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage and complete parts recovery and test requests within required timelines
• Support technical investigations, pre-delivery corrections, and field actions
• Assist Technical Managers and Regional Teams with complex vehicle issues
• Conduct hands-on diagnostic and repair work when required
• Accurately document findings and technical reports
• Collaborate within a high-performance technical team

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Technician (Trade Test passed) or N5/NQF Level 5 Mechanical Engineering
• Strong experience in:
  • Diagnostic fault finding
  • Electrical fault tracing and repairs
  • Use of diagnostic equipment
• Previous experience within a dealership environment (advantageous)
• Exposure to technical investigations or workshop support roles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
