What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support the Head of Marketing in developing and executing the regional marketing strategy across South Africa and broader African markets.
  • Own retention marketing — driving client lifetime value through CRM, content, web marketing, and re‑engagement campaigns (cross‑sell, upsell, churn reduction).
  • Lead end‑to‑end campaign planning, execution, and optimisation across online and offline channels, including promotional mechanics and loyalty activations.
  • Analyse full‑funnel marketing KPIs (acquisition cost, conversion rates, churn, re‑deposits, re‑activation) and present data‑driven recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Assist in managing and mentoring team members, hosting weekly meetings, and acting as KPI gatekeeper across workstreams.
  • Coordinate cross‑functionally with Performance Marketing, Community, SEO, Content, and Research teams to ensure cohesive full‑funnel execution.
  • Manage external vendor, agency, and event partner relationships within budget. Step in as primary marketing point of contact in the Head of Marketing's absence.

Who We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of progressive marketing experience, with demonstrable involvement in strategy, campaign management, and team coordination.
  • Proven experience in the forex, CFD, fintech, or online trading industry is essential.
  • Strong data analysis skills — comfortable working with marketing analytics tools, Excel, and reporting dashboards to drive decision‑making.
  • Hands‑on experience managing integrated, multi‑channel campaigns (email, web, social, in‑app, events).
  • Experience managing vendor and agency relationships, including briefing, performance tracking, and budget oversight.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
  • Based in South Africa with the ability to travel domestically for events, activations, and team coordination.

Nice‑to‑Have

  • Experience working across multiple African markets (Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania).
  • Familiarity with CRM and CDP platforms.
  • Understanding of A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimisation.
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring junior marketing team members.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for financial services marketing in Africa.
