About the role
Responsibilities
- As directed by the Project Manager, coordinate the scope definition and prepare the work breakdown structure.
- Coordinate and control changes to scope and, with support from others, ensure related approval and configuration management documentation is in place before baselines are adjusted.
- As directed by the Project Manager, coordinate the cost estimating and budgeting processes to prepare project budgets and forecast submissions.
- Coordinate the preparation and maintenance of baseline and working project schedules and control schedule changes.
- Ensure effective communication within the team, and with supporting groups.
- Ensure that all key information is properly disseminated among the team members.
- Work closely with a project team to develop corrective action plans when necessary.
- Schedule and conduct project meetings, communicate assignments and expectations to project team members and track completion of project deliverables to ensure quality and integrity of all project-related products.
- Communicate project information to stakeholders, design templates, create presentations, reviews and edits project deliverables and maintains the project information repository.
- Help to resolve project conflicts, identify resource requirements and align the Project team on project scope.
- Assist in the evaluation and management of the project risks.
- Assist in the preparation of project status reports as directed by the Sr. Project Manager.
- Support the company’s objective of continuous improvement by reviewing, incorporating and contributing to lessons learned, and suggesting changes to process and procedure in order to improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of project execution.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Project Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 2-3 years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects in a technical field.
- 2-3 years of experience working with business stakeholders within a projectized matrix environment.
- PMP/CAPM Certification or achieved within 3 years.
- Ability to obtain/maintain security clearance.
- Strong technical writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills.
- Ability to interpret technical schedules, cost data, and performance metrics
- Capability to interface with a variety of customers for project execution.
- Reliable team player, with good time-management, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to support technical reviews of various documentation deliverables.
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Products to include proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas) and comfort working with large data sets.
- Knowledge of P6, EVMS, MS Project, Contract Comprehension, FAR/DFAR, CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
DESIRED:
- Experience with EVM tools such as Cobra, Empower, OpenPlan, Primavera, MS Project, or similar.
- Exposure to DCMA EVMS guidelines, IPMDAR/IPMR reporting, or DoD/FAA/NASA program environments.
- Familiarity with risk management, subcontractor integration, or configuration/change control.
- Experience supporting IBRs, surveillance reviews, or PMRs.
- Understanding of WBS, OBS, control accounts, work packages, and resource planning.
Work Schedule
This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
Pay, Benefits And Work Schedule

Annual Pay rate for this position is: $74,600 - $112,000.
