Role Responsibilities
The Assistant Project Manager will support the commercial projects team, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the submittal and shop drawing process, ensuring all specifications and design criteria are met within required timelines
- Coordinate and track RFIs, working closely with internal teams and clients to clarify plans, specifications, and project details
- Support material procurement, ensuring all materials are approved, ordered, and delivered in alignment with project schedules
- Maintain and update procurement logs, with a focus on long-lead items to prevent delays and ensure seamless project execution
- Assist in driving project coordination, documentation, and communication across stakeholders to support successful project delivery
Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years in construction management or a related field
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (Construction Management, Engineering, or similar), though equivalent hands-on experience will be considered
Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Procore, Microsoft Teams
- Scheduling software (working knowledge)
- Adobe, Bluebeam
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented mindset
