About
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. The APM is responsible for the planning, schedule, adjustments, and maintaining timelines in a fast-paced construction/installation environment while maximizing resources and optimizing budgets.
The APM will also be responsible for a variety of documentation on any given project to include implementation and maintenance of project construction schedule, submittals, change orders, purchase orders subcontracts, and RFI's to ensure high quality of work at a job site.
The ideal candidate will have experience with a general contractor performing Tenant Fit Out/Improvements and SCIFs for government projects, including:
- Design-Build
- General Contracting
- Preconstruction
- Self-Performance and subcontracting (Specialties)
- JOCs / IDIQs
- Sustainable Design and Construction
Requirements
- Active US Government security clearance (Top Secret/Secret) is must to be considered for this role and also experience working on DOD sites where clearance/badging are required.
- Bachelor's in construction related field highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6 Schedule and Microsoft Office Suite
