Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager to support and oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of low voltage cabling and IT infrastructure projects. This role is central to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in or lead the planning, scheduling, and coordination of low voltage cabling and IT infrastructure projects from pre-wire through final installation
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal technicians throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables — flagging issues proactively
• Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment needed for each job site
• Maintain accurate project documentation including scopes of work, schedules, and closeout reports
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure quality standards are met
• Support project estimating and proposal preparation as needed
• Communicate project status updates to management and clients clearly and consistently

Qualifications

Required:

• 2+ years of experience in project coordination or project management, preferably in low voltage, IT infrastructure, construction, or a related field
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits

Preferred:

• Experience with structured cabling, A/V, CCTV, telecommunications, or low voltage systems
• Familiarity with BICSI standards or low voltage industry practices
• PMP certification or working toward it

$62,500.00 per year
