We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Social Media Manager to support the execution and optimization of social media accounts across corporate, banking, and retail sectors.
This role requires a strong balance between creativity and precision — someone who understands structured content planning, compliance sensitivity (especially for regulated industries), and fast-paced agency delivery standards.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, confident in bilingual copywriting (Arabic & English), comfortable with hands-on content creation tools, and capable of delivering quality work under pressure and tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Strategy Support
- Assist in developing monthly content calendars aligned with brand strategy
- Write engaging, platform-optimized captions (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok)
- Coordinate with designers and video teams to ensure timely delivery of assets
- Support campaign launches, activations, and tactical initiatives
- Ensure content aligns with brand tone and compliance guidelines (especially for banking/corporate clients)
Community Management
- Monitor comments, DMs, and community conversations
- Respond in a timely and brand-appropriate manner
- Escalate sensitive or compliance-related issues when necessary
Performance & Reporting
- Track KPIs including engagement, reach, growth, and conversions
- Assist in preparing monthly reports with insights and recommendations
- Monitor trends, competitor activity, and platform updates
- Suggest optimization opportunities based on performance data
Technical & Creative Skills
- Proficiency in Canva for quick-turn content creation
- Working knowledge of CapCut (or similar video editing tools) for reels and short-form video content
- Basic video editing and content formatting skills for social platforms
- Understanding of analytics and reporting dashboards
Operations & Coordination
- Schedule and publish content using social media management tools
- Maintain organized trackers, reports, and internal documentation
- Support influencer coordination and campaign logistics when required
- Work closely with account managers to ensure smooth execution
Requirements
- 1–3 years of proven experience in social media management (agency experience preferred)
- Demonstrated experience managing corporate, banking, or retail sector accounts
- Strong copywriting skills in both Arabic and English, with the ability to adapt tone for corporate and regulated industries
- Solid understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok best practices
- Experience with Meta Business Suite and social media scheduling tools
- Basic understanding of analytics, reporting, and performance metrics
- Exceptional attention to detail, especially in copy, publishing accuracy, and brand compliance
- Ability to handle pressure and deliver high-quality work within tight timelines
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written) — mandatory
