Responsibilities

Support Project Management & Digital Strategy Execution

  • Assist project managers in developing project plans, timelines, and deliverable checklists; track progress and ensure timely completion.
  • Participate in client meetings, prepare meeting minutes, action items, and change requests; maintain client communication records.
  • Coordinate internal resources (design, content, data analysis, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution.

Support Marketing & Communications on Chinese Social Media

  • Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, and RED, following brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Monitor engagement and collect data on content performance (views, interactions, conversions, etc.); provide regular reports and optimization suggestions.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure social media activities align with broader project plans.

Conduct Market Analysis on the Chinese FIT Segment

  • Research and analyze trends, consumer behaviors, and competitors within the Chinese Free Independent Traveler (FIT) market, focusing on tourism, luxury, and retail sectors.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports summarizing key findings and actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development of client personas and customer journey mapping as needed.

Contribute to Editorial Strategy & Digital Campaigns

  • Assist in planning digital marketing campaigns around key Chinese consumer moments (festivals, product launches, KOL collaborations, etc.)
  • Support content direction research, including topic discovery, keyword analysis, and content format recommendations (articles, short videos, live streaming, etc.)
  • Help prepare proposal materials, including market background, strategic framework, and execution plans.

Requirements

Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Management, Economics, Linguistics, or related fields
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing, social media, and consumer insights, with a strong desire to grow in this field
  • Good logical thinking and information synthesis skills; ability to independently perform basic data sorting and report writing
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (ability to handle bilingual materials and client communications)

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing or interning with WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, or RED
  • Knowledge of the tourism, luxury, or retail industries
  • Previous internship experience in consulting, strategy, or project management
  • Familiarity with basic data analysis tools (e.g., Excel pivot tables, Google Analytics, Xinbang, Chanmama)
