Associate AI Project Manager

Hard Requirements

• Valid Swiss work permit or legal authorization to work in Switzerland
• You must have minimum 1 year of professional experience in AI solution development or AI project coordination or AI consulting roles.
• You must have a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Technology, Mathematics (STEM).
• You must be willing to work at least 80% onsite in our office in Lugano and potentially on client’s site.
• Fluency in IT and ENG (minimum C1 level)

Role

We are looking for a motivated and curious Associate AI Project Manager to join our team and support the delivery of innovative AI-driven solutions for our clients.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with experienced Project Managers, technical teams (including Machine Learning Engineers, Software Engineers, and other specialists), and client stakeholders to gather clear requirements and coordinate the execution of multiple workstreams, ensuring the successful delivery of AI projects.

You will act as a key bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication, alignment and effective execution throughout the project lifecycle. Leveraging your strong interpersonal and communication skills, you will build trusted client relationships, supporting collaboration and driving project success and stakeholder satisfaction.

Required Competences and Attitudes

• Solid understanding of AI/ML technologies and their applications, with hands-on experience in data-driven or AI projects.
• Proven experience in coordinating project activities and managing timelines.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments, with strong context-switching skills across projects and clients.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to translate client requirements into technical specifications and actionable solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
• Project management certifications (e.g. CAPM) are a plus.

Education and Experience

• Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Technology, Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in AI solution development or AI project coordination or AI consulting roles.

Languages

• IT: professional proficiency (C2 level or equivalent)
• English: Proficiency (min C1)
• French / German: Proficiency (min C1) is a plus
