About the role

At ENGIE, we are looking for an Associate Director – Mechanical to join our subsidiary RED Engineering, an international consultancy firm specializing in Datacenter engineering for more than 20 years. With nearly 1,000 engineers across key offices in the UK, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, RED Engineering continues its expansion with the opening of a new office in Paris. As a key member of our new Paris office, you will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and help shape the future of data infrastructure.

Your day-to-day • Take on a leadership role in the development and coordination of engineering services for datacenter projects • Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and international teams to ensure project quality and profitability • Oversee the financial and commercial management of projects • Support recruitment efforts, mentor, and develop engineering team members • Actively contribute to commercial strategy, client relationship development, and preparation of technical and commercial proposals • Represent the company at professional events and technical meetings

Your background • Engineering degree with a specialization in HVAC or Mechanical engineering • Significant experience in datacenter design • Strong knowledge of design challenges related to Data Centres • Proficiency with MS Office applications and relevant calculation software • Excellent leadership and team management skills • Ability to communicate effectively in French and English • Chartered Engineer status (a plus)
