Your Impact in This Role:
As the Associate Director of Identity and Access Management (IAM), you will lead the Site Reliability Engineering efforts across our IAM platforms. With over 7 years of experience, you'll guide the operational activities of key IAM tools while providing strategic direction, hands-on technical expertise, and leadership over IAM solutions such as Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Secrets Management, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and Active Directory (AD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead implementation of Site Reliability Engineering across IAM platforms, ensuring systems are available, resilient, scalable, and perform optimally.
- Design end-to-end observability pipelines and automation environments.
- Define SLI, SLOs, and SLAs while establishing monitoring strategies for IAM system performance and service health.
- Create real-time dashboards that offer actionable insights into system performance and resource utilization.
- Drive incident management processes, recoveries, and post-incident reviews to improve system resilience.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to align IAM initiatives with business goals and compliance standards.
- Mentor IAM engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Oversee incident response, disaster recovery, and change management related to IAM tools.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity and IAM.
Success Factors:
- Experience in Site Reliability Engineering within IAM platforms.
- Proven technical leadership backgrounds.
- Strong knowledge of IAM frameworks, best practices, and compliance standards (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical and business teams.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, Microsoft, or IAM-specific credentials) are advantageous.
People Management & Leadership:
- Lead and manage IAM support teams.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, and team development.
- Conduct performance management and mentor team members.
- Ensure skill development in IAM and Site Reliability Engineering.
- Manage work distribution and foster a high-performance culture.
- Promote diversity, inclusion, and team morale initiatives.
