Associate Director Software Engineering(Java Backend+openshift experience)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. (A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.)
• Proven experience in a leadership role as a Software Engineering Manager, Engineering Team Lead, or similar position.
• Strong proficiency in Java backend development, including frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Extensive experience with containerization platforms, particularly OpenShift.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design principles.
• Proficient in database design and SQL queries, with experience in working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, or React.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with Agile software development practices.
• Experience with performance optimization and tuning of backend systems.
• Relevant certifications in Java development or related technologies.
