Job Description

McDermott, Will & Schulte seeks an Associate with 4‑7 years of experience to join the Energy & Project Finance group.

Requirements

• 4‑7 years of project finance transactions involving sponsors, investors, developers, and/or lenders, focusing on renewable power and energy transition
• Ability to take significant responsibility for drafting primary deal documents (purchase and sale agreements, investment agreements—including tax equity—, financing agreements, joint venture agreements)
• Team‑oriented with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working effectively within a deadline‑driven environment
• Strong academic credentials
• Must be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction where you will sit

Compensation

• 2026/2025 Class: $225,000
• 2024 Class: $235,000
• 2023 Class: $260,000
• 2022 Class: $310,000
• 2021 Class: $365,000
• 2020 Class: $390,000
• 2019 Class: $420,000
• 2018 and more senior class: $435,000
