About The Opportunity
In this role, you contribute to the successful transfer and lifecycle management of innovative life science products within QIAGEN’s Global Operations. Working closely with cross‑functional and international teams, you help bridge R&D and Manufacturing, ensuring product availability, quality, and cost efficiency. The position is ideal for someone with a life science background or early professional experience in biotechnology manufacturing who is curious, open‑minded, and motivated by continuous learning in a global environment.
Your tasks include
- Managing, coordinating, and supporting technology and product transfers from development to production and across manufacturing sites, with focus on quality, supply, and cost.
- Acting as a core team member in R&D product development meetings and facilitating communication between stakeholders, including feedback on raw materials, process robustness and product costing.
- Coordinating cross‑functional activities to ensure timelines for new product implementations are met.
- Preparing and maintaining SAP master data, including implementation and change processes.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the value chain and supporting task forces addressing product availability or quality topics.
- Leading a sub‑workstream within low‑to‑medium complexity Operations projects, driving agreed deliverables and ensuring clear communication within the sub‑team.
- Supporting Operations Product Management (OPM) process excellence initiatives through ideas, data extraction, and basic analysis.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field, or equivalent education.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience, ideally within biotechnology or life science manufacturing environments (or strong motivation as an early‑career professional).
- Ability to manage complex tasks and collaborate effectively with local and global stakeholders at different levels.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with a structured and detail‑oriented working style.
- Project management mindset with good coordination and time‑management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP (PP), GMP, or Lean principles is an advantage.
- Proactive, self‑driven, and motivated by learning and working in cross‑functional teams.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $55,000-$78,000. Compensation will be based on the candidate’s experience, skills, geographic location, and other job‑related factors. In addition to base salary, we offer a total compensation package that includes a commission plan, annual bonus, and generous benefits.
