Peraton is hiring an Associate Systems Engineer (Entry Level) to support a government customer's Program Management Organization that is part of a larger High Performance Computing (HPC) related program. The SE will be responsible for facilitating meetings and will coordinate communications among program stakeholders. This program is cutting edge and includes everything from HPC test planning and execution, architecture design and prototyping, and vendor outreach and collaboration support. Program technical areas include commercial cloud technologies, high performance computing, and enterprise architecture.
The program is tactically important to the national security of the United States and the work on these missions are frequently recognized for their results and the Systems Engineer will be directly involved in ensuring the government is successful in achieving their planned objectives of this growing, high-profile program.
What you'll do
The selected Systems Engineer will provide support that includes meeting facilitation, schedule coordination, status monitoring, and customer service, they will:
- Schedule program status meetings, coordinating key personnels schedules, taking notes, and publishing meeting minutes,
- Monitor the status of tasked work products and provide summary of status at reoccurring meetings,
- Generate draft system engineering documentation such as statements of work, task descriptions, actual requirements etc. based on input from key stakeholders and program subject matter experts.
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED plus five (5) years of general systems engineering experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus zero (0) years of experience.
- Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Polygraph must have been successfully completed within the past 5 years
