About the role
Position Overview
As an Associate Utility Data Analyst at Concurrent Technologies Corporation, you will work within the Energy, Resilience and Sustainability Division to support federal energy and water security initiatives. This hybrid role, based in the Washington, D.C. area, involves collaborating with senior Air Force clients and internal teams to develop robust energy and water data management frameworks and actionable insights for infrastructure resilience. US Citizenship is required, and you must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Key Responsibilities • Identify, manage, and analyze energy and water-related data to discover patterns, trends, and insights that support resilience goals. • Develop and maintain robust data management frameworks ensuring the accuracy, security, and accessibility of datasets. • Evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies for energy and water efficiency, security, and integrated resource management. • Create comprehensive reports and visualizations to assist policy development and strategic decision-making. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate energy and water data management into resilient infrastructure strategies. • Contribute to policy and program development that advances federal energy and water security goals. • Build and sustain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Energy Systems, Data Science, Public Policy, or a related field. • 2-4 years of experience in energy and water resource management, data analysis, or federal infrastructure projects. • Proficiency in data management tools and software such as GIS, Python, R, or advanced Excel techniques. • Strong analytical skills with experience in developing data visualization dashboards. • Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders and senior leadership. • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC) and a US Government Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications • Master’s Degree in Public Policy, Engineering, Data Management, or a related field. • Active Secret Security Clearance. • Experience with federal energy and water policy and infrastructure resilience initiatives. • Familiarity with DoD sustainability and resource management objectives. • Expertise in developing automated data pipelines or predictive models for environmental applications.
