Cherry Bekaert is on the lookout for an Audit Practice Partner to strengthen our commercial audit capabilities. This role is based at our Tysons office, with limited travel expected.

In this position, you'll play a crucial role in scaling our audit practice, catering to middle-market, private equity backed, and public companies. If you have a robust background in commercial industries such as Technology, Government Contractors, or Real Estate & Construction (RECON), we want to hear from you!

We seek a proactive, results-oriented partner eager to leverage their professional network and engage in business development with our firm's leaders.

Responsibilities

• Consistently expand the practice by enhancing services for existing clients, cross-selling with other advisory practices, and acquiring new clients.
• Implement the Firm and Audit Service Line vision, strategy, and goals for the Tysons audit practice while supporting other leaders in executing strategic plans.
• Develop and mentor professionals within the practice to build a strong talent pipeline.
• Foster communication, consistency, and collaboration among Service Line, Market Leaders, Shared Service Leaders, Advisory and Industry Leaders, as well as other stakeholders.
• Contribute to driving economic results throughout the practice as indicated by key performance indicators.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• Experience in a large local, regional, or national public accounting firm.
• Proven client service and business development capabilities that drive growth.
• Strong leadership and staff development abilities.
