Audit Senior

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our dynamic public accounting firm. The Audit Senior will play a key role in leading audit engagements for private companies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while providing exceptional client service. This position requires a strong background in audit practices and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of the audit process.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of private company clients
• Manage audit teams and provide training and mentorship to junior staff
• Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans based on identified risks
• Perform detailed reviews of financial statements and audit documentation
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional client service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification is required
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on auditing
• Strong knowledge of audit standards and procedures
• Experience with private companies in a commercial setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively
