About the role
Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Audit Staff in Baltimore, MD. Duties Include:
- Support audit engagements through testing, sampling, and data analysis
- Review financial and operational processes for compliance with policies and standards
- Document audit procedures, findings, and supporting workpapers
- Perform reconciliations, transaction testing, and data validation
- Identify discrepancies, control gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Assist with preparation of audit reports and recommendations
- Follow established audit methodologies and quality standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in auditing, accounting, or a related function
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis
