Auditor EMS & OHSMS / Program Manager (m/w/x/d)

About

In this role, you will conduct on-site audits of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements at customer locations in the D-A-CH region (and potentially neighboring European countries), and manage audits and program requirements in the EMS/OHSMS area. You will independently plan audits, prepare accreditation processes, and support the maintenance of certifications and the GMS system. You will work closely with the Technical Team, represent Intertek to accreditation bodies, and design training content. The position offers home office with national travel and significant scope for initiative in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Planning and coordination of audits according to guidelines in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and neighboring European countries
• Conducting on-site and remote audits (Auditor ISO 14001, ISO 45001) as well as transfer audits
• Preparation of branch office audits by accreditors and witness audits
• Researching relevant rules and laws for certification capability
• Ensuring compliance, maintenance, and potential expansion of accreditations as well as the Global/Local Management System (GMS)
• Creation of cross-industry training content and materials, as well as leading training sessions
• Collaboration with the Technical Team, Sales, and Operations
• Maintenance of the GMS and databases
• Representing Intertek Certification GmbH to accreditation bodies and in cross-industry committees
• Administrative tasks in the GMS environment
• Travel for order fulfillment and certification exchange
• Support with internal audits and certification decisions

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in a commercial or technical field, or equivalent vocational training
• Professional experience in the field of ISO 17021
• Qualifications as an ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 auditor (IAF accredited)
• High degree of independence, initiative, teamwork, and sense of responsibility
• Customer and service-oriented communication and work style
• Proficient in MS Office
• Willingness to travel
• Good English skills, both written and spoken
