Auto Cad with Database Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update AutoCAD facility drawings (floor plans, labs, offices) to reflect space changes, relocations, and personnel movements.
• Support and enhance database-driven applications related to facilities, security, license tracking, and organizational changes.
• Perform operations & maintenance for applications, databases, and COTS tools (AutoCAD, SQL Server, Oracle, reporting tools).
• Develop and maintain VB.NET / .NET applications, reports, and Excel-based tools.
• Support full SDLC activities including requirements, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and audit support.
• Provide end-user support, reporting, and technical documentation aligned with federal IT standards.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD (facility/floor plan updates)
• Strong background in VB.NET / .NET, SQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle
• Experience supporting legacy systems, O&M, reporting, and audits
• Ability to work across facilities data + application systems
• Eligible for Public Trust clearance

Note

Candidates with stronger AutoCAD experience are preferred, but willingness to learn and support AutoCAD in a facilities context is acceptable when combined with solid VB/.NET and database skills
