Responsibilities

• PLC programming with foresight
• Software architecture and module conception
• Development of process controls and visualizations
• Use of modern software management systems
• Evaluation of hardware components for control
• Technical expert for automation topics
• Support for field service technicians and engineers
• Creation of technical documentation

Qualifications

• Studies in automation or systems engineering
• Comprehensive PLC knowledge, object-oriented programming
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Holistic understanding of machine and process engineering
• Willingness to travel up to 15%
• Teamwork skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary tasks
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken

Additional Qualifications

• Previous experience with PLC programming environments: Codesys, B&R Automation Studio.
• Experience in direct customer contact as a technical expert.
• Basic knowledge or interest in product management.
