Location: Onsite, Imperial, PA
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 am‑3:30 pm)
Pay: $52.24 per hour

About the Role
As a Manufacturing Testing Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance for solar inverters, converters, and variable frequency drives. You'll execute and lead functional testing, collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering and manufacturing teams, and help shape testing processes that support safe, efficient, and reliable energy solutions.
This role is ideal for an electrical engineering professional who enjoys technical problem‑solving, working hands‑on with equipment, and driving improvements in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do Each Day
- Champion a safety‑first mindset and support a zero‑defect testing culture
- Perform full functional testing, including:
- Insulation and Hi‑Pot testing
- I/O verification
- Cooling system functionality
- Performance and compliance testing
- Independently troubleshoot electrical equipment and apply technical expertise to resolve issues
- Develop, execute, and refine test plans for inverters and other electrical equipment
- Prepare detailed test reports using established engineering templates
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and manufacturability
- Collaborate with engineering teams to communicate test results and design improvement requirements
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), IEC, and UL standards
- Lead customer witness factory acceptance testing and participate in third‑party certification testing
- Track first‑pass yield data and capture lessons learned to inform future improvements
✅ Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
- 3+ years of experience in equipment or manufacturing testing
- Knowledge of electrical equipment manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical skills with a structured approach to problem solving
- Ability to work independently in a hands‑on, onsite manufacturing environment
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with power electronics, inverters, converters, or variable frequency drives
- Familiarity with IEC and UL certification requirements
- Electrical troubleshooting experience and comfort using electrical testing instruments
- Exposure to lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer‑focused mindset and ability to collaborate across engineering and manufacturing teams
- Flexibility to work extended hours or adjust shifts when needed

Pay Details
$52.24 per hour

Requirements
