About

We are looking for Automotive Embedded Basic Software (BSW) Engineers to drive forward the Automotive sector with Electrical and Embedded Systems. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the projects that you work on whilst helping Expleo to grow the automotive sector within Electrical and Embedded Systems domain.

Responsibilities

• Define, design and implement an embedded AUTOSAR Classic platform.
• Develop and configure AUTOSAR Classic basic software.
• Develop complex device drivers.
• Integrate third‑party basic software components such as the MCAL.
• Implement and configure AUTOSAR BSW communication stack, including CAN, LIN, automotive Ethernet, etc.

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree in an applicable discipline such as Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electronic Engineering.

Essential Skills

• Experienced in developing and integrating AUTOSAR Basic Software with thorough understanding of the AUTOSAR Classic architecture and software stacks.
• Strong programming skills with demonstrable proficiency in programming languages, especially embedded C.
• Problem‑solving and debugging skills: ability to identify and fix software bugs.
• Experience of working on Safety Critical Software projects with familiarity of safety standards (ISO 26262) and coding guidelines (MISRA C).
• Experience of software development and test within an automotive project environment.
