About the role
About
We are looking for Automotive Embedded Basic Software (BSW) Engineers to drive forward the Automotive sector with Electrical and Embedded Systems. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the projects that you work on whilst helping Expleo to grow the automotive sector within Electrical and Embedded Systems domain.
Responsibilities
- Define, design and implement an embedded AUTOSAR Classic platform.
- Develop and configure AUTOSAR Classic basic software.
- Develop complex device drivers.
- Integrate third‑party basic software components such as the MCAL.
- Implement and configure AUTOSAR BSW communication stack, including CAN, LIN, automotive Ethernet, etc.
Qualifications
- Engineering Degree in an applicable discipline such as Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electronic Engineering.
Essential Skills
- Experienced in developing and integrating AUTOSAR Basic Software with thorough understanding of the AUTOSAR Classic architecture and software stacks.
- Strong programming skills with demonstrable proficiency in programming languages, especially embedded C.
- Problem‑solving and debugging skills: ability to identify and fix software bugs.
- Experience of working on Safety Critical Software projects with familiarity of safety standards (ISO 26262) and coding guidelines (MISRA C).
- Experience of software development and test within an automotive project environment.

Experience
- 5 to 7 years.
Requirements
