Responsibilities include conducting CAD/CAE analysis, prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical issues. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test automotive mechanical systems and components.
  • Utilize CAD software for 3D modeling and drafting of parts and assemblies.
  • Perform FEA and CFD analysis to optimize designs for performance, durability, and weight.
  • Develop and execute test plans for prototypes and production components.
  • Analyze test data and prepare detailed reports on findings.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are producible and cost-effective.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design issues during development and production.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in automotive design and development.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD).
  • Experience with CAE tools for FEA and CFD analysis.
  • Knowledge of automotive materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, powertrain systems, or chassis design.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
