Our client, a leader in the Automotive industry, is seeking an innovative and experienced Automotive Software Architect to join their cutting-edge R&D team in Dallas, Texas, US. This role is instrumental in defining the future of vehicle software systems, from infotainment and connectivity to advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving.

Responsibilities

• Designing scalable, robust, and efficient software architectures that meet the complex demands of modern vehicles.
• Translating system requirements into detailed software designs.
• Selecting appropriate technologies and frameworks.
• Ensuring adherence to automotive software development standards (e.g., AUTOSAR, ISO 26262).
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, systems engineers, and application developers, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

Qualifications

• Strong background in embedded systems.
• Strong background in real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Strong background in automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet).
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Deep understanding of software design patterns.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor engineers.

Experience with model-based design and simulation tools is highly desirable. A passion for automotive innovation and a commitment to quality are essential.

Education

A Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong focus on software architecture, is preferred.
