Our client, a forward-thinking automotive technology company, is seeking a talented Automotive Software Engineer specializing in Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) to join their dynamic team. This position offers a hybrid work model, providing a balance between remote development and in-person collaboration. You will be at the forefront of developing innovative software solutions that enhance vehicle safety, comfort, and autonomy. This role requires a strong understanding of embedded systems, real-time software development, and the complexities of ADAS functionalities.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and integrate ADAS software features, including adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking. Implement algorithms for sensor fusion, object detection, and path planning. Develop and maintain software requirements, architecture, and design documentation. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented C/C++ code for embedded automotive systems. Collaborate with hardware engineers, system engineers, and other software developers. Perform software unit testing, integration testing, and system validation. Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving software development processes. Stay updated with the latest advancements in automotive software, AI, and ADAS technologies. Contribute to the development and application of safety standards like ISO 26262. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in automotive software development, with a focus on ADAS or embedded systems. Proficiency in C/C++ programming and experience with embedded software development tools and environments. Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet). Experience with ADAS algorithms, sensor technologies (camera, radar, lidar), and simulation tools. Understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Experience working in a hybrid work environment. Passion for automotive innovation and autonomous driving technologies.
