About the role
Our client is seeking a talented Automotive Software Engineer to contribute to the development of next-generation automotive systems. This hybrid role requires a blend of on-site collaboration and remote work flexibility. You will be involved in the design, implementation, and testing of embedded software for automotive applications, ensuring high standards of performance, safety, and reliability.
Responsibilities: Develop embedded software for automotive ECUs using C/C++. Design and implement software architectures according to automotive standards (e.g., AUTOSAR). Write unit tests and perform integration testing to ensure software quality. Debug and troubleshoot software issues identified during development and testing phases. Collaborate with hardware engineers and system architects to define software requirements. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of coding standards. Develop and maintain software documentation. Work with diagnostic tools and in-vehicle testing equipment. Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline for automotive software. Stay updated on emerging automotive technologies and software development trends. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded software development, preferably in the automotive industry. Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming languages. Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, or Ethernet. Familiarity with AUTOSAR or other automotive software architectures. Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS). Experience with debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems. Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in both a team environment and independently. Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
