Responsibilities
- Hands On experience administrating the AWS Platform using AWS Organizations, Control tower and other organization related AWS Services such as AWS Config, Security hub, SCP, RCPs, etc.
- Github & Terraform knowledge. Experience managing the AWS Platform using CICD Pipelines and IaC3.
- While experience developing solutions or migrating applications to the cloud is welcomed, we not looking for that specifically.
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable AWS cloud platform.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources & policies.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
- Architect and implement cloud solutions that meet business requirements and align with best practices.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.
- Implement and enforce cloud governance policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Provide technical consulting on effective cost optimization for application teams, including efficient operation of AWS services and resource types, and creation of budgets, alerts, and cost management dashboards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on AWS.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.
- Proficiency in using GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture and best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Knowledge of cloud governance frameworks and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
