About

We are seeking a highly experienced AWS Platform Engineer to lead cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, and migration initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on expertise in AWS infrastructure and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure (EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, S3, Redshift).
• Lead on-prem to AWS cloud migrations and support application modernization.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Manage containerized environments using Kubernetes (EKS) & Docker.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Artifactory).
• Implement monitoring & observability using DataDog, CloudWatch, SIEM tools.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, network, and application issues.
• Partner with Cybersecurity, Architecture, and Engineering teams to ensure secure and compliant environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in AWS (infra-focused).
• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services (EC2, EKS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, Redshift).
• Proven experience in cloud migration & platform engineering.
• Expertise in Terraform (must-have) and automation (Python/Bash).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, and cloud security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and SRE practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Cloudera / Big Data environments
• Tools: Ansible, New Relic, Nginx, Istio/App Mesh

Certifications

• AWS Certification (Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer)
