About

AWS DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure across enterprise and digital ecosystem. While a key focus will be supporting the eCommerce platform, this role will also contribute to broader IT initiatives leveraging AWS services. The ideal candidate will combine strong cloud operations expertise with automation, scalability, and security best practices to ensure the stability and performance of business‑critical applications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize AWS cloud environments across multiple business systems, including eCommerce and enterprise platforms.
  • Oversee provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of EC2 instances, load balancers, and supporting services.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and integration across applications.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless deployment, scalability, and integration of cloud‑based systems.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Monitor and tune system performance using AWS CloudWatch or similar observability tools.
  • Implement automated scaling, backup, and disaster recovery processes to enhance resilience and uptime.
  • Support security and compliance practices, including IAM management, patching, and environment segregation.
  • Work closely with Project Management and Development teams to plan and execute application releases in AWS.
  • Continuously evaluate new AWS services and tools to improve automation, efficiency, and cost optimization.
  • Use discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.
  • Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.

Must Haves

  • 4–6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Operations.
  • Proven experience managing and supporting applications hosted on AWS EC2 and related AWS services.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline management and automation scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with networking, load balancing, and security configuration within AWS.
  • Experience supporting multi‑tier applications, preferably including web, middleware, and data layers.
  • Understanding of Agile delivery practices and experience collaborating with Product and Project teams.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect) are preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas, instructions, and information clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated ability to actively listen, ask relevant questions, and provide thorough and articulate responses.
