AWS DevOps Engineer

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8-9+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer.
• Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and DevOps tooling.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, etc.).
• Familiarity with Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and security principles.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer / Solutions Architect certification.
• Experience with serverless architecture (AWS Lambda).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and GitOps practices (e.g., ArgoCD).

Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.

• Hands-on experience with Terraform or CloudFormation. They should know the from the scratch how to step up the environment
