AWS DevOps Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with strong Python development capabilities to support cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure AWS environments while driving automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient application deployment
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Write and maintain Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and deployment tasks
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline release processes
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability
• Implement security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments
• Manage containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (if applicable)
• Maintain version control using Git and follow DevOps best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.)
• Excellent programming skills in Python
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems and scripting
• Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Good understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.)
• Experience working in banking or financial services environments
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
