Role

AWS GovCloud Architect – GovCloud & FedRAMP

Location

Princeton, NJ (Hybrid – 4 days/month)

Experience

12+ yrs (5+ AWS, 2+ GovCloud/FedRAMP)

Mandatory Skillset

• AWS GovCloud + Commercial architecture
• Deep AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53 Resolver, PrivateLink)
• Strong Terraform (multi-account IaC)
• FedRAMP & NIST 800-53 compliance, ATO processes
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI)
• Containers (EKS/ECS) & Serverless (Lambda, API Gateway)
• Security (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub)
• Scripting (Python, Shell)

Key Responsibilities

• Design & deploy secure, scalable AWS architectures
• Implement networking, DNS, and hybrid connectivity
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform/CloudFormation
• Ensure security, compliance, and ATO readiness
• Manage observability, DR, and cost optimization
• Lead teams and collaborate with security/compliance stakeholders

Certifications

• AWS Security Specialty
• CISSP/CCSP
