Job Summary

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to manage and operate our Microsoft Azure environment, with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) as a core service. The role covers cloud infrastructure, identity and access management, automation, security governance, and monitoring, while working closely with security and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and operate Azure cloud infrastructure and landing zones
• Own and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), including:
  • Host pools, session hosts, application publishing
  • FSLogix profile management and performance troubleshooting
  • Conditional Access, MFA, and identity protection
  • Guest and external user lifecycle
• Support application teams with:
  • App registrations
  • SSO, SAML, OAuth/OpenID integrations
• Design and maintain cloud automation, including:
  • Inactive users and stale devices handling
  • VM maintenance and update workflows
  • Automated access and guest onboarding processes
• Own monitoring and logging, including:
  • Log Analytics workspaces
  • Event Hub integration with third-party SIEM platforms
• Govern Microsoft 365 services to ensure security and compliance

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and identity integrations
• Experience with PowerShell and Azure automation
• Good understanding of cloud security, governance, and best practices
