Responsibilities

• Build and operate Azure Databricks workspaces, integrating ADLS Gen2, Entra ID, networking, and Key Vault for secure, scalable platform foundations.
• Define and enforce operational standards, including logging, monitoring, alerting, and platform observability for jobs, pipelines, and SQL workloads.
• Enable data onboarding and integrations from enterprise systems such as SAP and the Salesforce ecosystem into the Lakehouse (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Support advanced platform capabilities, including AI‑related integrations (e.g., Databricks Genie and emerging AI features) as the platform evolves.
• Configure and optimize compute across All‑Purpose, Job Compute, Pools, SQL Warehouses, and Serverless, enforcing runtime standards and cost controls.
