Azure & DevOps Instructor

We are looking for a skilled, experienced, and passionate Azure & DevOps Instructor to join Tri-Cloud Academy as a full-time remote contractor. You will be responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving our Azure + DevOps curriculum across live cohort cycles. You will be the go-to Azure expert for our students — guiding them from cloud fundamentals all the way through to professional-level Azure and DevOps certifications.

As the Azure & DevOps Instructor, your core duties will include:

• Design and deliver a comprehensive, up-to-date Azure & DevOps curriculum for each cohort, covering both foundational concepts and advanced, real-world use cases.

• Conduct live online classes (via Google Meet, Zoom, or similar), record session replays, and produce written study guides and reference materials for students.

• Teach DevOps principles and practices within the Azure ecosystem, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, containerisation, and cloud-native deployment strategies.

• Prepare and administer assessments, projects, and capstone tasks that mirror real job expectations and cloud certification exam formats.

• Provide timely, constructive feedback on student submissions and respond to student questions within 48 hours during active cohort periods.

• Guide students through AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-400, and AZ-305 certification pathways and examination preparation.

• Continuously update course content to reflect the latest platform updates, exam objectives, and industry best practices.

• Collaborate with the CEO and other instructors during cohort planning, curriculum reviews, and quarterly strategy sessions.

• Maintain accurate student attendance records, progress tracking, and assessment grades as required by the Academy.

• Act as a mentor and motivator — helping students who are struggling to stay on course and reach their certification goals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Azure certification (Associate level minimum; Professional preferred)

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience working with Azure in a professional or consulting context

• Strong practical knowledge of DevOps tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and CI/CD pipeline design

• Proven experience teaching, tutoring, or mentoring others in a tech subject (online or in-person)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Ability to explain complex cloud concepts clearly to beginners

• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a functional home office setup

• Self-motivated with strong time management skills — remote-first mindset

• Familiarity with online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, Slack, Notion, or similar)

• Based in Nigeria (remote — any state)

• Azure Professional-level or Specialty certifications

• Prior experience at a cloud consultancy, fintech, or SaaS company

• Experience creating and selling online courses (Udemy, Coursera, etc.)

Pay: ₦400,000.00 - ₦2,000,000.00 per month
