Azure Production Support Engineer

About This Role

This Azure Production Support Engineer role offers exposure to large-scale, cloud-based production environments and the opportunity to work on modern Azure infrastructure and SRE-driven systems.

What you’ll be doing:

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents and service disruptions
• Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance using SRE principles
• Automate manual processes and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure
• Analyze logs, metrics, and alerts to proactively prevent incidents
• Partner with engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and observability strategies
• Manage Azure resources (VMs, AKS, storage, networking)
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical production support

What you bring:

• 5–7 years of production support experience in a cloud environment
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure (Monitor, App Insights, Log Analytics)
• Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or Ansible)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or Datadog)
• Solid understanding of incident management, SRE, and RCA practices
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (AKS) and Docker
• Knowledge of networking and security (load balancers, firewalls, IAM, VPNs)
• Experience working with distributed systems and cloud-native architecture
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Hybrid: 3 days onsite (Montréal area)
