Account Manager

About

On behalf of our client, and under exclusive mandate, we are seeking a high-performing Account Manager with a background in banking and finance to drive B2B sales of a specialized software solution to banks, corporates, private banks, wealth managers, and family offices.

This role is ideal for someone with a hunter mentality-competitive, proactive, and relentless in pursuing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Sell the value proposition of the company to financial institutions and corporate clients.
• Build and deepen strategic relationships with private banks, wealth managers, and family offices.
• Lead sales & business development efforts across banks and corporates.
• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with precision and speed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
• Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and conferences (up to 20% travel).

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and business development, ideally within banking, finance, or related sectors.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets (references preferred).
• Strong network and previous experience in the Zurich financial ecosystem.
• Swiss German (C2) and English (C1), French is a great asset.
• Experience in private banking is a strong plus.
• Highly competitive, goal-oriented, and self-driven.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• "Go-getter" with a can-do attitude and entrepreneurial mindset.
