About the role

About CookUnity

Food has lost its soul to modern convenience. And with it, it has lost the power to nourish, inspire, and connect us. So in 2018, CookUnity was founded as the first-of-its-kind platform that connects the world with the source of truly great food: chefs. Today, CookUnity delivers 50 million meals a year from the industry's best chefs to homes all over the country. Fresh. Ready-to-eat. And crafted with the passion that nourishes body and soul.

Unwilling to stop there, CookUnity is expanding beyond delivery to become an ever-innovating marketplace focused on our singular mission: empower Chefs to nourish the world.

If that mission has you hungry in more ways than one, you've found the right job posting.

About the Team

The B2B team operates like a startup within CookUnity — entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and innovative, charting a bold new path by bringing exceptional culinary experiences to businesses, organizations, and their employees. This role reports directly to the Head of B2B and works closely with sales, marketing, operations, and product around strategy and execution.

Role

CookUnity's B2B team is scaling fast, and we need someone who can build and own the systems behind that growth. This role sits at the intersection of demand generation and marketing operations. You'll own the infrastructure that moves leads through the funnel, converts pipeline, and keeps our reporting honest.

In this role, you will drive performance across the full inbound funnel, from lead capture and nurture to Smart Fridge user engagement and retention, while continuously improving how our marketing systems operate. This is not a campaign execution role; it's a systems and ownership role where you build, optimize, and scale the efforts that power growth.

Success in this role will be defined by measurable improvements across the funnel, including increased lead‑to‑meeting and lead‑to‑SQL conversion rates, as well as growth in overall SQL volume and marketing‑driven pipeline. You will ensure faster inbound lead response times, improve event‑to‑SQL conversion rates, and drive higher Smart Fridge engagement. Additionally, you will establish clean, reliable reporting and contribute to stronger SEO‑driven inbound performance.

Responsibilities

  1. Lifecycle Marketing & Demand Generation

    • Build and optimize nurture systems to improve lead-to-meeting and SQL conversion
    • Own inbound lead flows with real-time follow-up and segmentation

    • Maintain lifecycle stages, routing, and data hygiene
    • Define and track funnel KPIs
    • Identify gaps and proactively improve processes
  3. SEO Agency Management

    • Own external SEO agency performance and deliverables
    • Align on content, landing pages, and technical SEO priorities
    • Hold agency accountable for traffic, rankings, and inbound leads
    • Be able to step into SEO shoes and tackle changes when required
  4. Smart Fridge Lifecycle & Retention

    • Drive B2C engagement via Klaviyo and OneSignal
    • Build real-time triggers for email, SMS, and push notifications
    • Optimize for weekly active users and repeat usage
  5. AI, Automation & Systems

    • Use AI to generate and optimize lifecycle content at scale
    • Build automation across Salesforce, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, and OneSignal
    • Eliminate manual processes and improve system efficiency
  6. Reporting & Insights

    • Own dashboards and reporting across lifecycle and demand gen
    • Track conversion rates, SQL volume, and pipeline contribution
    • Deliver insights and executive summaries with clear recommendations

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or demand generation
  • Owner mindset: identify gaps and build scalable systems to solve them
  • Experience with tools like Salesforce, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, OneSignal, Zapier, etc.
  • Strong understanding of the full funnel and conversion across the customer journey
  • Data‑driven, with a focus on pipeline and revenue impact
  • Ability to leverage generative AI to increase output quality and speed
