About the role

Your WOW Moments:

  • We are creating a solid foundation for your professional start with the opportunity to combine important theory and exciting practical tasks.
  • At the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Stuttgart, you will not only be taught the fundamentals of electrical engineering and computer science, but also gain competencies in software engineering and hardware development.
  • Acquired project management skills and other soft skills will help you work in interdisciplinary teams and projects.

In parallel, you will be introduced to the basics of electrical engineering and programming in our training workshop from the very beginning and be optimally prepared for your future challenges.

  • After the introductory phase, you will take on exciting tasks in our research and development centers in Winnenden or in our plants and can show what you've got.

It would be WOW if you bring this:

  • We are looking for bright minds who deliver top performance every day with diligence and commitment and want to seize the opportunity to directly reconcile academic knowledge and practical experience.
  • You go your way with self-confidence, have successfully completed your general university entrance qualification (Abitur) and convince us with good grades in the core subjects as well as physics and computer science.
  • You are characterized by a high degree of willingness to learn, resilience, and reliability.
  • Communication skills, openness, and enjoyment of teamwork are among your personal strengths.
  • Good English skills are desirable.

Our Kärcher WOW Package:

  • A guaranteed job offer with a permanent employment contract at the end of your cooperative study program. This gives you planning security for your professional future.
  • An introductory afternoon before your cooperative study program and a kick-off seminar at the beginning of your cooperative study program, so you can quickly find your way around and get to know the other trainees and students.
  • Look forward to attractive training compensation (1st year: €1,426, 2nd year: €1,608, 3rd year: €1,841), your own laptop during the entire study program, and a free Deutschlandticket JugendBW.
  • In addition to your 30 days of vacation per academic year, you will receive two extra days off, which you can also take across academic years. Furthermore, Christmas and New Year's Day are non-working days.
  • Look forward to an exciting practical semester in one of our international subsidiaries, which we support financially. Is that not enough for you? Then you have the opportunity to spend a theoretical semester abroad on your own initiative.
  • With a 35-hour week, flexible working hours, and the possibility of mobile working, you can largely organize your workday flexibly.
