Essential Skills

• Experience with document template development solutions
• Strong understanding of IT application SDLC processes
• Advanced XML and XPath knowledge
• Extensive Perl and Unix scripting experience
• Experience working with Linux servers and Unix/Linux architectures
• Ability to interpret and produce user requirement specifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Advantageous Skills

• Knowledge of Output Management and Customer Communication Management solutions
• Experience with OpenText ExStream (Design Centre, StoryTeller, PageOut) or StreamServe
• Exposure to spooling systems (e.g., VPSX) and tools such as scVenus
• Basic knowledge of SAP Output Management, Oracle/PostgreSQL databases, and encryption technologies
• Understanding of printer languages (PCL, PS, ZPL)
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., BMC Remedy)
• Chinese language skills beneficial

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support document templates using OpenText ExStream tools
• Migrate templates from PageOut to StoryTeller
• Perform effort estimation and solution scoping
• Manage input/output queues, interfaces, filters, and URL requests
• Collaborate closely with build teams and IT architects
• Ensure solutions align with infrastructure, security, and architecture standards
• Operate fully within an Agile environment and adhere to Agile practices
• Maintain strong awareness of user requirements and output management needs

Qualifications

• Matric plus Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or related field
• Relevant experience in application development or document composition solutions
